Wyatt Update

Thanks so much for your prayers. Wyatt's blood sugars have remained well above 60, hovering between 100-130. If he maintains his sugars, he will be weaned on Friday to what's considered a physiologic or replacement dose. So far we haven't seen significant improvements in his demeanor, but we knew it would take some time for the medication to get out of his system. We'll keep you posted.

my oldest son had reflux and it stayed with him all the way through 18 months (as far as all the spitting up goes). He still will now from time to time but it did get better with age. I just kept lots of burb cloths with me and that helped ... also keep shirts for you in your diaper bag .. you'll be glad you did if you are out and about and have a bout ... :) He was on zantac as well and it did help some with the pain on his end. We were able to wean him off of it as he got older. We will keep you in our prayers even though you don't know us and vice versa.

I heard one of your songs from your finetune playlist today and thought of you guys. I haven't commented in a while, but the babies are never far from my mind.

Hey Guys,

Randi, sorry we kept missing each other today. I wanted to see how Wyatt was doing, but we'll touch bases tomorrow. Please know that I am thinking of ALL of you, but I'm saying a special prayer for our precious "Angry Man" Wyatt. He's going to turn the corner once the meds are weaned down. God bless those babies!!

A bit overdue, but congratulations on having both of your boys HOME! We continue to pray for their health-and sleep for y'all as well.

not trying to offer advice where some is not requested; however, I just wanted you to know that sometimes it takes different meds to work for the reflux -- my son is on his 4th different medicine (prevacid) and it is finally working....and I have heard this from several of my friends who have had babies with reflux too.

Congratulations - your boys are beautiful!

I hope everything goes well on Friday. We are all praying for you. Maybe there won't be too many more sleepless nights. I know it's rough. Hang in there.
